The Firm Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C. was founded in 1986, with the purpose of providing high quality, integrated services to both domestic and international clients. With this vision, throughout the life of the Firm we have successfully advised clients not only from a legal point of view but also from a business perspective. Our work ethic requires us to find the best solutions possible for the problems confronting our clients in the changing and competitive business world that characterizes the international economy we live in today.
Given the economic, political and legal characteristics of a country such as Mexico (where the majority of the business activity takes place in the capital city), our main offices are located in the Federal District. However, our practice extends throughout the country, which is why our lawyers and other staff are always available to travel to the different regions of the country according to the needs of our clients. If an ongoing presence or frequent follow up of a particular matter outside of Mexico is necessary, we also have correspondents that help us in the daily follow up of such cases, but with the Firm always assuming responsibility for and the oversight of the actions necessary to protect the interests of the client. For this purpose we have developed relationships with recognized firms in the principal cities in the interior of the Mexican Republic.
Throughout the years we have also established and developed a close professional relationship with law firms in the principal cities of Asia, Canada, Latin America, the European Community and the United States of America, with whom we maintain an excellent reciprocity. Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C. is also a member of the international network of firms ALFA. Founded in 1980, ALFA has one hundred fifteen member firms of which eighty-five are U.S. firms and thirty are firms of the most important cities of the world. ALFA members combine their resources and experience in order to provide better service to their clients, offering seminars and legal consultations, broad knowledge in diverse areas of the law, a great capacity for coordinated investigation and a worldwide network of high quality legal advice.
The Firm currently has more than 45 lawyers, including some from the United States and the European Community, dedicated to the full time practice of the legal profession. The attorneys of this Firm are graduates of some of the most recognized universities in Mexico and have undertaken advanced legal studies in universities in the United States and the European Community.
