Mr. Carreño has negotiated the main deals that have shaped several industries which generate large profits and have changed the commercial landscape in Latin America and Mexico. He has been a key figure in the region's most important M&A deals including two of the most important of the century.  Furthermore, he has been a leader in aiding banks and other financial institutions to prosper in Mexico and has implemented several programs for fighting corruption and conducting due diligence programs.


Competition & Antitrust

He has advised both competition and antitrust aspects of corporate deals as well as litigation matters before the Mexican Antitrust Commission and the Mexican Courts. Mr. Carreño has handled and resolved the most difficult antitrust disputes in favor of his clients. He is one of the key lawyers in Mexico who can develop an offensive or defensive strategy in order to protect clients against unfair competition, strategic alliances, dumping issues and other unfair practices taking place in the marketplace.


Real Estate & Mining

He has been a major participant in cutting edge construction and development of led buildings and other environmentally friendly savant guarded projects. He has negotiated and counseled main transactional companies in the development of their construction projects on a federal and state level, making sure they comply with Mexican laws throughout the entire process.
