Furthermore, he has been a leader in aiding banks and other financial institutions to prosper in Mexico and has implemented several programs for fighting corruption and conducting due diligence programs.
Competition & Antitrust
He has advised both competition and antitrust aspects of corporate deals as well as litigation matters before the Mexican Antitrust Commission and the Mexican Courts. Mr. Carreño has handled and resolved the most difficult antitrust disputes in favor of his clients. He is one of the key lawyers in Mexico who can develop an offensive or defensive strategy in order to protect clients against unfair competition, strategic alliances, dumping issues and other unfair practices taking place in the marketplace.
