Katarina Lundahl

Lawyer


Katarina is a Finnish lawyer with extensive experience in public international law and international dispute settlement. Her practice is focused on international commercial and investment arbitration, including complex cross-border commercial disputes and assistance to investor-state arbitral tribunals. Katarina has successfully represented Mexican and foreign companies in high-stakes commercial arbitrations in the fields of oil and gas, construction, and joint ventures under all major international arbitration rules as well as Mexican and Spanish arbitration rules. Katarina also participates in the firm’s domestic litigation practice and has advised clients in the enforcement of arbitral awards and proceedings in support of arbitration, including provisional measures.

Katarina is trained in both the Finnish and the Mexican legal systems, and is authorised to practice law in both countries. Before joining Von Wobeser y Sierra, Katarina worked at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague and the Permanent Mission of Finland to the United Nations in New York. Due to her dual legal training and work experience in Finland, the Netherlands, New York, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Mexico, Katarina has a keen business understanding from clients from diverse cultures and legal systems.
