The firm has played an active role representing its clients both in the notification of mergers and acquisitions before the Federal Competition Commission as well as in the filing of appeals before the Commission and lawsuits against it. Thus we have represented clients in claims of monopolistic practices and prohibited mergers filed against their competitors. We have also on occasion successfully challenged through the amparo proceeding the resolutions of the Federal Competition Commission that have not been in compliance with the requirements and conditions established by the antitrust law.
